Bastien Grosso won the IBM Research Forschungspreis 2022
Dr. Bastien Francesco Grosso was awarded the IBM Research Forschungspreis for his outstanding PhD thesis.
Bastien Grosso’s thesis, New Structures and Functionalities in Multiferroic Bismuth Ferrite; First-
principles–based studies, pushes the frontiers of knowledge of one of the most widely studied multiferroic materials, bismuth ferrite, impressively far forward and in previously unanticipated new directions.
The laureate received his award at the ETH Day on November 19 2022.
