Sinead M. Griffin won a prize at the MRC Graduate Symposium, ETH Zurich on July 8, 2011 with her poster "Multiferroics and the Early Universe" (S.M. Griffin, N.A. Spaldin)

Carlo Weingart won the ETH medal for his MS thesis "Origin of Spin Cantin in Multiferroic Perovskites". The presentation of the award will take place at the D-MATL MS graduation ceremony on June 1, 2012.
